Ramayana Episode 7 – The Road to Lanka

Rama’s army builds a bridge across the sea and marches toward Lanka to begin the war.

Rama and his allies finally learn that Sita is being held in Lanka. Yet Lanka is an island kingdom across a vast sea. Reaching it will require overcoming a great obstacle. Rama and the monkey army must decide how they will cross the ocean.

The Bridge Across the Sea

Rama’s army stands before the sea and searches for a way forward. The endless water seems like a great barrier to their journey. Yet the monkey warriors refuse to give up. They begin building a bridge across the sea using stones and trees.

Countless warriors work together with great effort. Huge rocks and tree trunks are carried toward the water. Slowly a path begins to form across the sea. At last a long bridge connecting to Lanka is completed.

The Army Marches Toward Lanka

Once the bridge is finished, Rama’s army begins to cross the sea. Thousands of monkey warriors move forward across the bridge. Their steps create the movement of a vast army. The bridge over the sea becomes the road toward war.

Rama, Lakshmana, and Hanuman also advance at the front of the army. They move forward until the walls of Lanka come into view. Beyond the sea a powerful kingdom awaits them. War now becomes unavoidable.

Preparing for War

As they approach Lanka the tension grows stronger. Rama’s army begins preparing for battle. Each warrior checks his weapons and his place in the army. Everyone understands that a great conflict is approaching.

Meanwhile Ravana, the king of Lanka, also prepares for war. He trusts in the strength of his army and his fortress. Soon the two armies will face each other. The story now reaches the moment just before the greatest battle of the Ramayana begins.

라마야나 7화 – 랑카로 향하는 길

라마의 군대는 바다 위에 다리를 놓고 랑카로 진군하며 전쟁을 향해 나아갑니다.

라마와 그의 동맹들은 마침내 시타가 랑카에 있다는 사실을 알게 됩니다. 그러나 랑카는 넓은 바다 건너편에 있는 섬 왕국이었습니다. 그곳에 도달하기 위해서는 큰 장애물을 넘어야 했습니다. 라마와 원숭이 군대는 바다 앞에서 새로운 결정을 내려야 합니다.

바다 위의 다리

라마의 군대는 바다를 바라보며 길을 찾기 시작합니다. 끝없이 펼쳐진 바다는 그들의 여정을 가로막는 거대한 장벽처럼 보였습니다. 그러나 원숭이 전사들은 포기하지 않습니다. 그들은 바다 위에 돌과 나무를 쌓아 다리를 만들기 시작합니다.

수많은 전사들이 함께 힘을 모읍니다. 거대한 바위와 나무들이 바다 위로 옮겨집니다. 그렇게 조금씩 바다 위에 길이 만들어집니다. 마침내 랑카로 이어지는 긴 다리가 완성됩니다.

랑카로 향하는 군대

다리가 완성되자 라마의 군대는 바다를 건너기 시작합니다. 수많은 원숭이 전사들이 다리를 따라 이동합니다. 그들의 발걸음은 거대한 군대의 움직임을 만들어 냅니다. 바다 위의 다리는 이제 전쟁으로 향하는 길이 됩니다.

라마와 락슈마나 그리고 하누만도 군대의 앞에서 함께 나아갑니다. 그들은 랑카의 성벽이 보이는 곳까지 전진합니다. 바다 건너편에는 강력한 왕국이 기다리고 있습니다. 이제 전쟁은 피할 수 없는 일이 됩니다.

전쟁의 준비

랑카에 가까워지자 긴장이 점점 높아집니다. 라마의 군대는 전투를 준비하기 시작합니다. 각 전사들은 자신의 무기와 역할을 확인합니다. 모두가 다가올 싸움을 예상하고 있습니다.

한편 랑카의 왕 라바나도 전쟁을 준비합니다. 그는 강력한 군대와 요새를 믿고 있었습니다. 두 군대는 곧 서로 마주하게 됩니다. 이렇게 라마야나 이야기의 가장 큰 전쟁이 시작되기 직전의 순간에 이르게 됩니다.
